The magnetic steam compressor is a kind of turbine equipment using magnetic bearing. Its main structure is that the impeller is directly mounted onto the motor shaft extension end, and the rotor is suspended vertically on the active magnetic bearing, without speed increasing box and coupling. It is directly driven by a high-speed motor.

Structural type: Cantilever type, no bearing, the fan impeller is directly mounted on the motor shaft, the speed of the fan is the same as the speed of the motor.
Advantage: Simple and compact structure, small fan volume, high mechanical efficiency of the fan.
Disadvantage: The fan model is smaller and cannot meet the requirements of large air volume or high pressure.
Main applications: Due to the bearing capacity of the motor or the effect of the medium (such as high temperature), it is only suitable for small fans with no special requirements for the medium.

Structural type: Cantilever type, belt drive structure, the belt pulley is installed in the middle of two supporting bearings, and the impeller is cantilevered at the other end of the shaft.
Advantage: The fan speed can be chosen from a wide range, the flow is closer to the application needs, the motor installation position is more flexible, and it occupies less space.
Disadvantage: Relatively lower mechanical efficiency, difficult to disassemble the belt pulley. The belt drive requires tension, which adds extra lateral force to the fan shaft end, there are more easily damaged parts, and the frequency of updates and maintenance is high.
Main Application: Suitable for medium-sized and above fans with a large range of performance variations, rarely used.

Disadvantages: The mechanical efficiency is relatively low. Belt transmission requires tensioning force, adding extra lateral force to the fan shaft end. There are more easily damaged parts and high frequency of maintenance and renewal.
Main application: Suitable for medium-sized and above fans with a large range of performance variations.

Main application: Suitable for double-suction or large single-suction centrifugal fans with a large range of performance variations.
